Dustin J. Williston is a multi-disciplinary visual artist based in Madison, Wisconsin, USA.
After 20-plus years as an award winning photojournalist, Mr. Williston rediscovered a passion for painting; specifically pure abstract, non-objective painting.
Using the urban landscape around him for inspiration, his paintings begin with layers of texture and color from various mediums. A process of adding and substracting, along with extensive use of mark-making create an almost sculptural work of art.
Working with commercial and fine art clients, Mr. Williston's work has appeared in countless publications, galleries, corporate and private collections.
